"Feargal Sharkey" is the first solo album by former Undertones singer Feargal Sharkey. The album was released in 1985, peaking at #12 in the UK and contains Sharkey's best known single "A Good Heart", written by Maria McKee about her relationship with Tom Petty's keyboard player Benmont Tench. In turn, Tench wrote the song "You Little Thief", allegedly about Tench's side of the relationship with McKee. "A Good Heart" was Sharkey's only number one single and stayed at the top of the UK Singles Chart for two weeks in November 1985. The song achieved great succes all over Europe, however, it fared less well in the US, peaking at No. 74 on the Billboard Hot 100. The album was produced by Dave Stewart.
